- Suitable for techniques such as drypoint, etching, engraving, aquatint and mezzotint, offering smooth engraving performance, excellent ink retention and high-quality print results.
- The surfaces can be polished using steel wool and very fine sandpaper (such as 1200 grit), while degreasing with calcium carbonate or a suitable cleaner is recommended for improved varnish adhesion and cleaner etching.
- When working with acids, it is recommended to apply a stop-out or anti-acid varnish to the back of the plate for additional protection and safer processing.
