Ioannis Varsamoudis
Biography
Yiannis Varsamoudis is an artist who lives and works in Alexandroupolis. He paints and draws portraits, figures and landscapes. The materials he uses are soft pastel, charcoal, graphite and watercolor. He presents his work, both in individual and group exhibitions.
He has participated in painting competitions, in which he won places:
American Art Awards 2019: Third place in the "portrait of a non-famous person" category.
Panhellenic "Phoenix" award in 2019.
Fourth place in the "pastel / chalk / colored pencil - human figure" category at the 2020 American Art Awards.
Tie for sixth place in the "charcoal / ink / pencil - human figure" category at the 2020 American Art Awards.
