Fitting Instructions:
Each rivet consists of two parts that form their final shape during the installation process. When fitted, the central tube of one piece locks into the tube of the other cap, securing the rivet in place.
To install:
- Punch a hole that matches the diameter of the rivet tube — ensure a snug fit with no looseness.
- Insert the rivet from the front side of the leather or fabric.
- Place the front cap of the rivet face-down onto the base of the setting tool.
- Position the upright punch over the other rivet cap.
- Strike the punch with a hammer.
- The shape of the tool will press the two parts together, causing the back cap to snap securely into place. This results in a strong, clean finish without the need for additional washers or components.
