• Canson Montval watercolour papers, specially designed for watercolour and wet painting techniques, suitable for both studies and practice as well as finished artworks.
• Available in different surfaces depending on the version: Cold Pressed, Hot Pressed and textured Snowy Grain, allowing artists to choose the most suitable surface according to their technique and desired result.
• The range includes 200gsm, 270gsm and 300gsm papers, depending on the surface and product type.
• They stand out for their excellent correction properties: watercolour can be removed from the surface using clean water with a sponge or brush, allowing the area to be reworked.
• Primarily suitable for watercolour, they can also be used with gouache, inks and other water-based techniques.
• The papers are acid-free and free from optical brighteners, feature an anti-mould treatment and comply with the ISO 9706 standard for paper permanence.
• The Montval range was developed by Canson in the early 20th century at the request of French painter Gaspard Maillol and has since become one of Canson's established watercolour paper ranges.
