Creartec Silcotin HB-RTV Heat Resistant Silicone Mold Rubber

• Silicone rubber with excellent durability  for casting or coating.
• For the creation of molds resistant to high temperatures (up to 300ºC)
• Once hardened, you can cast: tin, zamak, pewter, lead, polyurethane resins, wax, soap, etc.
• The mold is quite solid and durable and can be used for 100-150 times (castings)
• In addition to the usual use (as a mold) you can create uniform silicone plates 5-6mm thick to be carved with engraving tools (like linoleum)

Instructions

1. Prepare the original object you want to copy by protecting it with non-stick.
2. Add the hardener (small bottle) to the silicone rubber in a ratio of 1.5 to 2.5% (40 drops of hardener equals approximately 1gr).
3. Circulate the original object (after you have placed it in a frame code 1900064) or coat it with rubber.
4. The rubber hardens in about 0.5-3 hours.
5. Carefully separate the original object from the rubber.
6. You can now cast the material you want inside (e.g. tin, zamak, pewter, lead, polyurethane resins, wax, soap, etc.) having coated the silicone mold with the appropriate non-stick agent.
