Sterling Silver is an alloy consisting of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals (primarily copper), offering an ideal balance of strength and workability.
• Half Hard temper provides an excellent balance between flexibility and rigidity. The wire is easily shaped using jewellery pliers and tools, while retaining its shape far better than soft wire, making it ideal for jewellery intended for everyday wear.
• Excellent resistance to deformation, allowing finished components to maintain their shape even after repeated use without easily losing the form they were given.
• Available in various diameters, allowing you to choose the appropriate thickness for each application, from delicate details to more robust structural elements.
• Tip: Like all genuine Sterling Silver wires, they may naturally develop a light patina over time due to oxidation. Their original shine can be easily restored using a silver polishing cloth or a suitable silver cleaner.
