- Concentrated fabric dye in a self-dissolving packet, specially designed for easy and clean dyeing without the mess of powdered dyes. The packet dissolves completely in water, making the dyeing process much simpler.
- Suitable for 100% natural fibers, such as cotton, linen, silk, wool and viscose (rayon), offering vibrant, even and long-lasting colors with excellent penetration into the fabric fibers.
- Each package (14 g) dyes approximately 1 to 1.3 kg of dry fabric. The final shade may vary depending on the original fabric color, temperature, dyeing time and fabric-to-dye ratio.
- Can be used both in a washing machine and with the stovetop dyeing method. For cotton, linen and viscose, add approximately 270 g of non-iodized salt, while for silk use approximately 80 ml of white vinegar for better color fixation.
- Ideal for reviving faded fabrics, upcycling garments, textile art applications, dyeing craft fabrics, decorative items and creating unique color effects.
- The dye contains no heavy metals and the dye bath can be safely disposed of down the drain according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Available in 30 bright colors.

Stovetop dyeing method
- Use a stainless steel or enamel pot that is not used for food.
- Fill with enough warm water for the fabric to move freely.
- Add the self-dissolving iDye packet and stir until fully dissolved.
- For cotton, linen and viscose, add approximately 270 g of non-iodized salt. For silk, use approximately 80 ml of white vinegar.
- Wet the fabric and place it in the pot.
- Heat until just below boiling, approximately 85°C, and maintain the temperature for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove the fabric, rinse with cold water and wash with a mild detergent before allowing it to dry.
Top-loading washing machine method
- Fill the washing machine with just enough hot water for the fabric to move freely.
- Add the iDye packet and allow it to dissolve completely.
- For cotton, linen and viscose, add 270 g of non-iodized salt. For silk, add 80 ml of white vinegar.
- Add the pre-wetted fabric.
- Extend the wash cycle so the total dyeing time is approximately 50–60 minutes. The longer the dyeing time, the deeper and more durable the color.
- Allow the cycle to finish normally.
- Wash the fabric with a mild detergent and allow it to dry.
- After dyeing, run a short wash cycle with detergent to remove any dye residue from the washing machine.
Front-loading washing machine method
- Dissolve the iDye packet in approximately 500 ml of hot water.
- For cotton, linen and viscose, dissolve 270 g of non-iodized salt in approximately 1 liter of hot water.
- For silk, use approximately 80 ml of white vinegar instead of salt.
- Pour the dissolved materials into the washing machine drum and add the wet fabric.
- Select the highest possible temperature and the longest available wash cycle.
- The longer the fabric remains in the washing machine drum, the deeper and more durable the color will become.
- After the program finishes, wash the fabric with a mild detergent and allow it to dry.
- Carefully clean the door gasket and run a short wash cycle to remove any dye residue.
For fabrics containing polyester
- For blends containing polyester, use an iDye Poly dye in a similar shade together with the corresponding iDye for natural fibers.
- Follow the stovetop dyeing method and maintain the temperature for approximately 30 to 60 minutes.
For cotton and silk blends
- You can use either salt or vinegar, as both can give satisfactory results.
- Alternatively, you may use neither and rely on the high temperature of the stovetop dyeing method.
- For deeper and more intense shades, you can carry out two separate dye baths: one with salt and one with vinegar.
