Directions for Use
- Place a small amount of dry pigment onto the grinding slab and gradually add the appropriate binder.
- Initially mix the pigment and binder with a palette knife until a paste is formed. Then work the mixture with the glass muller, applying controlled pressure with steady circular movements.
- During the process, periodically scrape the mixture back towards the centre of the slab with the palette knife and continue grinding until it reaches a smooth, homogeneous consistency.
- Gradually add more pigment or binder until you achieve the desired consistency and handling properties of the paint. The amount of binder required varies according to the pigment and the type of paint being prepared.
