- Use the special LIQUID GLASS COLOUR ULTRA TINT pigments, specifically designed for use with all types of our LIQUID GLASS resins: LIQUID GLASS, LIQUID GLASS CRYSTAL, LIQUID GLASS 4K ULTRA HD, LIQUID GLASS EXPRESS, LIQUID GLASS FOOD GRADE, LIQUID GLASS COLOUR BASE, LIQUID GLASS 3D FLOOR.
- LIQUID GLASS COLOUR ULTRA TINT pigments are specially formulated for artistic projects with LIQUID GLASS, providing rich opaque color tones.
- They can be used to color the entire piece or just certain layers or areas to create backgrounds or designs.
- They can be mixed together to create countless color variations.
- Also suitable for coloring polyester and polyurethane materials.
Instructions for Use
- Select one or more colors to use for your project.
- Add a few drops to component A (resin). 30ml of pigment is enough to color up to 15kg of LIQUID GLASS. Always add the pigment to the resin before adding component B (hardener), so you have time to achieve the desired shade.
- Mix thoroughly with a clean stir stick, spatula, or mixing tool until the pigment is completely homogenized, paying special attention to the bottom and sides of the container. For large quantities, use a low-speed electric mixer.
- Add component B (hardener) and mix thoroughly.
- The mixture is now ready for use.
Notes
- Be careful - adding too much pigment can prevent the resin from curing properly.
- If working with LIQUID GLASS COLOUR ULTRA TINT in multiple layers, record the amount of pigment used (in ml, drops, or with a precision scale) each time to reproduce the same color later.
- You can darken the shade by adding more pigment, so it’s best to start with a lighter tone.
- Mix thoroughly until the pigment is fully incorporated.
- All LIQUID GLASS COLOUR shades can be mixed together. You can experiment and create your own unique colors.
Cleaning
- Remove as much material as possible from tools before cleaning. Clean tools immediately after use with nitro thinner.
