PanPastels Sofft Sponges are versatile applicators specially formulated for use with PanPastels as well as a wide variety of dry or wet media. These hand-held sponges enable a more direct connection with the working surface, making it easier to control and predict the final marks achieved. They come in an array of shapes and sizes for quickly blocking in large areas of color, blending, underpainting, loading multiple colors, building layers, and refining details.
Sofft Sponges hold and release just the right amount of material, and are non-abrasive for smooth, uniform results.
These sponges can be used with dry materials such as pastels, charcoal, graphite, and most water-based materials including watercolor, ink, ceramic glaze, and acrylic.
