Posca markers are permanent markers with water-based, non-toxic ink that is lightfast and waterproof. Their colours are vibrant and opaque. They work on all surfaces: paper, cardboard, wood, metal, porcelain, glass, fabric, rubber, latex, vinyl, etc.
Instructions
Shake the marker well with the cap closed until you hear the ball, remove the cap, and press the tip several times on a test sheet until the ink begins to flow to the tip.
To make them permanently indelible depending on the material, follow these steps:
- Paper/Cardboard: Nothing needs to be done. The pigments of Posca will be absorbed by the paper fibres, making them permanently indelible.
- Clay/Polymer Clay (Premo, Fimo, Cernit): Bake the objects in a kitchen oven for 20–25 minutes at 120–130ºC, then spray with a clear varnish spray.
- Fabric: To make the item washable, iron the fabric on the reverse side for 5 minutes (without steam). Afterwards, the fabric can be washed at up to 40°C.
- Porcelain: For permanent fixing on mugs and cups, bake the objects in a kitchen oven for 45 minutes at 160°C. The items can then be washed at up to 40°C.
- Metal: Spray with a clear varnish spray.
- Glass: Bake the objects in a kitchen oven for 45 minutes at 160°C, then spray with a clear varnish spray.
- Wood: Spray with a clear varnish spray.
- Plastic: Spray with a clear varnish spray.
