  • Mica colors are natural metallic pigments which come from minerals, which are purified (purification) and then crushed into a very fine powder. They come from all over the world and have many different uses.
  • The Neonlites series are fluorescent shades that glow only when exposed to black light (ultraviolet light).
  • They can be used in many applications, including: coloring liquid glass (epoxy resin), polymer clay, soaps, painting, ceramics, home decoration, inks (calligraphy), in car paints, in silicone, in nail polishes, in eye shadows, in lipsticks, in lip balms, in emulsions, in powders, for body art (temporary tattoos), even for children (Halloween), etc.
  • All Mica colors can be mixed together to achieve impressive shades.

 

  • Indicative ratios per material (always test, every application and material is different).
  • Liquid Glass: Depends on the case of application, about 1gr Mica per 100ml mixed liquid glass.
  • Soap mass Transparent: 1.5-2gr Mica per kg.
  • Soap mass White: 2.5-5gr Mica per kg.
  • Olive oil soaps: 5-10gr Mica per kilo.
  • Nail polishes: about 2gr Mica in any clear varnish.
  • Eyeshadows: about 2.5gr Mica in 12.5gr bases.
  • To be kept in a dry place, moisture is the biggest enemy of mica powders.
  • The grain size ranges between 10-60 microns.
  • They are not toxic and are approved by the European Union (EU) for cosmetic use (cosmetic grade). Regulation (EC) no. 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council 30/11/2009 on cosmetic products.
  • Completely free of synthetic dyes.
