Sil-Poxy™ is a one-component adhesive specifically designed for bonding silicone rubber molds to other silicone rubber and materials, including certain plastics (urethane), gypsum-ceramic, fabrics, etc.
Sil-Poxy™ is compatible with both tin-based and platinum-based silicones and provides a strong, flexible bond between silicone components with a high elongation rate. It can be pigmented with silicone pigments. Once cured, the adhesive withstands weathering, moisture, UV exposure, and high temperatures. Sil-Poxy™ can be used to repair torn silicone rubber molds. Other applications include bonding silicone for prosthetics and animatronics.
Cured Sil-Poxy™ is certified skin-safe.
IMPORTANT - Do not apply to the skin in its uncured form.

Instructions
A clean, dry surface is essential for successful bonding. If possible, roughen the surface and wipe with a solvent before application.
Dispensing – Squeeze the tube, taking care not to allow air to enter before replacing the cap. Any unused material exposed to air inside the tube will cure quickly. Replace the cap immediately after use.
Application – Apply the adhesive to the surfaces to be bonded. The material will begin to cure in about 5 minutes. Parts can be handled after 1 hour, depending on temperature and humidity. Full cure is achieved after 24 hours.
Cleanup – Uncured Sil-Poxy™ can be removed from surfaces using isopropyl alcohol. Do not allow isopropyl alcohol to pool on silicone rubber surfaces.
