- The innovative Multi Ink, a water-based ink formulated with high-quality pigments, delivers exceptional colour intensity, permanent waterproof results and outstanding lightfastness, preserving its original shades even after years of light exposure. The lightfastness of each colour is individually rated according to the Blue Wool Scale and DIN EN ISO 105-B01 standards.
- The ink dries quickly, becomes smudge-resistant once fully dry and allows overpainting without reactivating the underlying colour. It also does not bleed or show through paper, keeping both sides of the sheet clean, even on lighter-weight artist papers.
- Suitable for all types of artist papers as well as many other surfaces, these pens perform exceptionally well in mixed media techniques. For even greater creative versatility, the STAEDTLER 893 colourless blender can dissolve the permanent Multi Ink to create smooth tonal gradients, soft transitions and watercolour-like effects.
