Stained Glass Solder 60/40

• Special stained glass solder in the form of a thin, solid rod, suitable for the copper foil technique and for projects using lead came. Ideal for decorative pieces, lamps, stained glass panels and windows.
• Sn60/Pb40 composition, containing 60% tin and 40% lead. This alloy offers excellent flow characteristics and remains molten longer than 50/50 solder, making it easier to create smooth, continuous and well-formed solder seams.
• Low melting temperature, approximately 183-190°C, for easy feeding and improved control of the molten solder. Suitable for both beginners and experienced stained glass artists seeking clean joints and an even, raised solder finish.
• Its excellent flow allows the alloy to spread evenly over copper foil and lead came joints, helping to create strong, durable bonds with a clean, bright metallic finish.
• Rod diameter approximately Ø3.0mm and length approximately 45cm. The thin rod provides precise solder control while reducing unnecessary material consumption when soldering fine seams and intricate details.
• Contains lead. Always use in a well-ventilated area, preferably with local fume extraction. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product, and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Keep out of reach of children.
