UHU Textile is a special flexible adhesive designed for bonding natural and synthetic textiles. It is suitable for cotton, linen, denim, canvas, felt and coir fibres, as well as for bonding textiles to leather and wood.
Ideal for repairing and decorating garments and textile items, it can be used for hems, patches, holes and tears, as well as a wide range of arts and crafts applications. It is also suitable for repairing textile coverings, fabric chairs, awnings and beach chairs.
The adhesive is initially white and dries transparent and flexible, allowing the bonded joint to remain flexible with the fabric. It is solvent-free and offers very good resistance to water, detergents, washing and dry cleaning. Bonded textiles can be washed at temperatures up to 90°C.

Application:
- Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil and grease.
- Apply the adhesive using a small brush or spatula. For most applications, applying the adhesive to one surface is sufficient.
- Join the materials immediately or allow the adhesive to dry for approximately 5 minutes before joining.
- After approximately 30 minutes, the bonded area can be ironed using a temperature appropriate for the fabric. Ironing improves resistance to washing and dry cleaning.

- Initial drying time: approximately 5–10 minutes.
- Final bonding strength: approximately 30 minutes.
- Density: approximately 1.04 g/cm³.
- Minimum application temperature: +10°C.
- Temperature resistance after curing: approximately -20°C to +90°C.
- Solvent-free.
Important: Not suitable for light-coloured PVC with a textile backing, such as certain types of imitation leather.
Cleaning: Fresh adhesive residue can be removed with water. Once dry, the adhesive is extremely difficult to remove due to its high resistance to water, solvents and cleaning agents.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
