Van Gogh Oil Pastels by Royal Talens are high-quality oil pastels offering intense, brilliant colours and a remarkably soft texture. Made with pure pigments and wax binders, they provide a smooth laydown, excellent tinting strength and easy colour transfer without producing dust.
Their soft consistency makes them suitable for covering larger areas as well as creating colour gradients, blends, layers and expressive marks. Colours can be blended and worked directly on the surface, making these oil pastels versatile for drawing, painting and mixed-media techniques.
- Composition: pure pigments and wax binders.
- Texture: remarkably soft and smooth with rich colour release.
- Surfaces: suitable for paper, painting board, canvas, wood, textile, stone and creamics.
- Techniques: colour blending, gradients, layering and expressive drawing.
- Dust-free: unlike dry pastels, they produce no dust during application.
- Dimensions: approximately 70x11mm per oil pastel.
- Lightfastness: varies according to the pigment and individual colour.
For optimum adhesion, use on slightly absorbent, clean and dry surfaces. Van Gogh Oil Pastels are a versatile choice for students, advanced users and artists looking for intense colour and a direct, expressive drawing and painting medium.
